What’s good with ya’ll mane? Another Friday is here and we have some more good music to lock in on. We are about to take it back to New Iberia, Louisiana mane with the multi-hyphenate artist Moose Harris with his latest project titled Shadows Prayers and Music [SPAM].
Moose is DEFINITELY a friend of ThaOvaground as we featured his previous critically-acclaimed album Mooshus And The Poe in 2020 in the thick of the Coronavirus pandemic. Even when he’s not on the mic, he’s getting write-ups in his local ABC affiliate in for his musical talents. And this is what his latest project SPAM is all about: the multi-faceted artist.
His latest offering is a grab bag of ALL of his musical talents: his smooth Louisiana bluesy-soul, tenor vocals combined with his upbeat, cool flow all the way to his poetic interludes. This project comes out of the gate with Turn the Microphone On with Moose hitting ’em straight out of the gate.
This 16-cut album is a front-runner for local award season in Louisiana and abroad (Gambit, we’re looking at you 🙂 ). I suggest you FIRST go over to Moose’s Bandcamp and BUY the project first (because he’s also an inDAIpendent artist) THEN run over to the streaming sites and run them streams us.
