New Orleans’ based lyricist Lyrikill is on a marathon run in 2025 with his project releases this year and he isn’t showing any signs of letting up.
Lyrikill has connected back with his long time production collaborator Kid Infamous to bring in their third installment of their series entitled EAT 3: The Purple Store.
Keeping to the New Orleans themes (New Orleans’ natives know about dat Purple Sto’) …what’s not necessarily a New Orleans homegrown export is the soulful, boom bap sounds Kid Infamous cheff’ed up that Lyrikill just slides on with ease.
With collaborators like Morris Colossus, ELESPEE, John Deaux, Chef 360, Doz and Mr. J’ai this project is getting raves reviews already. They even have a limited edition vinyl along with the digital downloads on their bandcamp.
