Baton Rouge emcee and Tygah Woods frontman Mr. J’ai has been very busy these last few months. Now, you would think it would just be new music and it has been with the critically-acclaimed Before Tik Tok project that he dropped in September of 2025.
Now, Mr. J’ai has started 2026 anew with a new documentary titled Live From Government Street and has been making his rounds at local and national film festivals.
The MUSIC from that documentary is what is the focus of his latest release tilted Essentials Vol. 1. Check out the write-up from Mr. J’ai below:
