Straight out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, emcee and multi-hyphenate artist Mr. J’ai has had a very productive year musically barring the Coronavirus lockdowns and things. His critically-acclaimed collaborative album PLUGGED IN with L’Daialogue DiCaprio is still moving numbers and now its time for J’ai to add onto his classic Clarity series with his latest offering: Clarity 2.0.
The new project has features from Kelly Eaglin, Lyrikill, & L’Daialogue DiCaprio with production from Mr. J’ai, MiZUnderstatistic, Prospek, Blaze The Verbal Chemist & L’Daialogue DiCaprio.

This EP contains songs that were written between 2014-2020. Some were left over from the “Therapy LP” and “Epiphany” sessions. Others are remixes from the “Plugged In” project. Most of the recording happened as warm up sessions with Peter Santos. He pressed record and I went for it. There are still five to eight more songs that are in the vault from the original set of records.
