Baton Rouge’s own Nasty on the Beats aka BE!NASTY is dropping some new heat titled AGENT ASH: SHE EYE ARE ESS.

This project is lit with a dramatic story similar to Bonnie & Clyde; Agents Ash & Cash, as a team of righteous vigilantes are on a “collection” mission. Narrated by the bold and “arrogant” rhymes of BE!NASTY! aka CASH, the focus is not just on AGENT ASH but on the increased confidence that CASH gets from watching his sexy, sassy assassin cohort operate. The Double-Mirror Reflection method is heard throughout the storytelling over the soulful production of Nasty On The Beats and the stacked multi-part-harmonies in the background and choruses— ALL SUNG by BE!NASTY! Himself. Even the cover art tells a story, as ASH is the focus in the foreground, while BE!NASTY! aka Agent Cash is in the background knowing that His shine is based on her fire and radiant glory and operation.
The lyricism is sharp. The story is consistent. The sound is both authentic to hip hop culture, but also offers a mystic nostalgia— where the sound is both new and “knew” (familiar). And as always BE!NASTY! is definitely nasty, boasting of his very specific and strategic sexual intentions— and now aided by His ride-or-die, who lives to see His sexual appetite satisfied.
