You know how America is celebrating its 250th anniversary as a nation on July 4th this year? Well, 2DEEP is celebrating the “2” as a nation mane and they are back at it again. Da’ Pharoh & Da’ King has a new project entitled ANNAKNOCKKEY 3:THE GODS TOOK OVER NOW.
For those that don’t know, ANNAKNOCKKEY 3: THE GODS TOOK OVER NOW is an elevated continuation of their previous LP as they delve deeper into their North Memphis neighborhood with a play off of their local slang “anna” (a shortened form of the word ‘animosity’), “knock”
(a slang term for bumpin’ music) and “keyz”(meaning their sound is the ‘key’). Also, the
word “anunnaki” refers to the ancient anunnaki of the past & mirrors their monikers as Da’
Pharoh & Tha’ King bringing similarities of ancient Memphis to modern-day Memphis, Tennessee.
The project is produced by The Clazzikal Clazzik Team (MiZUnderstatistic, Kill Politicianz & L’Daialogue DiCaprio) with production by Blaze The Verbal Chemist and features D-Rock & GetitGone Mac Head.
