I just ran across this documentary video on Youtube titled WELCOME TO HELL: The History and Influence of MEMPHIS RAP which was uploaded by a user named Turismo that outlines in depth the origins of Memphis underground rap.
Some of the research from this video was based off of a track by L’Daialogue titled “The Unofficial Story of Memphis Rap” that was first featured on his Worldwide DJ Kenny Kaign helmed Bluff City Daialogue tape.
Its cool to see Memphis finally getting the recognition it deserves in the rap game as many of the OGs are FINALLY getting that nationwide shine they deserved.
